Building connections at the Staff Connect Day and beyond

A couple weeks ago, we came together as a team to celebrate our work and reflect on our strategic goals. It was exciting to see so many new and returning team members together in one group. Thanks to everyone who could join us!

The Staff Connect Day was a wonderful opportunity to meet the friendly faces across PKAVS and reflect on the work we do. All throughout the day, our values were front and centre:

We Make An Impact

In the afternoon workshops, we were able to consider these values closely and engage in collective problem-solving to evaluate our case studies.

We were also pleased to be joined by Board members to have candid conversations about their motivations and vision for the future of PKAVS.

Perhaps most importantly, we took some time to hear from every service to celebrate and recognise each other's accomplishments. Here, it became abundantly clear that 'We Make An Impact' is a value that we all take to heart!

It was lovely to see everyone together, and we look forward to the next opportunity for connection and collaboration. We'd also love to build on these mutual understandings, so the Intranet will be a space to share and reflect on our work.
