Heart-warming feedback from the Day Centre Tea Dance

The PKAVS Day Centre have received a wonderful piece of feedback from a carer following their Tea Dance on 14 August:

"My husband has been attending the Day Centre every Wednesday for nearly a year.

When I pick him up he is always cheerful and often passes comments on how nice the staff are. Of course, because of his Dementia he can rarely tell me what he has done at the centre, but I know he has enjoyed himself. This helps me relax in the few precious hours I have without him. I cannot compliment the lovely, caring staff enough!

We love to go away with PKAVS, and I always feel safe because those lovely folk are constantly looking out for us all. 

We also thoroughly enjoy the Tea Dances and my husband actually tried to dance at the last one. I cannot stress too much the benefit this Day Centre has on both our lives.

On occasions I have found that I can confide easily with the staff when necessary.
