Here are some of the photos.

It was well attended and the sun did come out for a bit. Always a good sign.

A little bit of a back story about Esmeralda:

Last year the lady (age +90) who owns that Boot scooter had some troubles with her scooter. It was a simply fix, because it was in manual and the person who sold it to her did that show any of its functions. She called her scooter Esmeralda and I really liked that.

2 weeks ago this lady contacted me to say that Esmeralda is no longer working. She made some jokes about funeral for the scooter. BUT we worked our magic, changed the ignition over and got Esmeralda back up working. We also did some minor body work fixing and added a missing bolt. I then printed the name and taped it to the basket. The lady came to the NSAW last Tuesday and was absolutely delighted to see that "Esmeralda has survived the surgery and fully recovered".

Personally that was the highlight of the week for me. This is what it is all about. Making a difference and helping people.
