Hi Everyone,
Just a quick update regarding PVG changes!
Starting on 1 April 2025, the PVG check is now mandatory for all regulated work, including employees and volunteers!
Key Changes relevant to us:
PVG checks must be completed before the first day of employment or engagement with us.
PVG renewals will now be required every 5 years.
There are now only 2 types of PVG checks: To Join and Existing Membership.
Board members and those in leadership roles are also required to have a PVG due to their power of influence.
We’ve updated our PVG procedures and policies to reflect these changes. If your role is affected, we will be in touch with you directly to guide you through the process.
